Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Bauer NE RV entry door lock for trailers. Now folks, this is gonna fit a left-handed door and it's gonna use Bluetooth technology and the optional pin pad to let you unlock the door without having to use the included keys, but you do have keys as well. So again, a great option to upgrade your RV entry door lock for your left-handed travel trailer camper, or fifth wheel entry door. And so when you're standing outside of your RV, looking at your door, the door hinge is on your left. And again, this gives you also an optional proximity mode.

So that's kind of neat. So you can unlock it with just a single button push. And again, you always do have the keys as a backup in case the batteries die or something inside of here. So again, a very simple push button design. And then obviously you got the handle here from the outside to open it, flipping it around if we're on the inside looking out.

First time use, you're obviously gonna pull this tab out, read the instructions. You do have all the hardware plus all the hardware that you need for the striker and everything. You got the lock here, that's your deadbolt. And then of course you got your handle from the inside as well to be able to open and close the door. So obviously, it comes in two parts.

And again, you're gonna use the included hardware and you're gonna do everything that the instructions that come with it tell you to do. You got a little power cable here to plug things in as well. So it's very important that you follow the instructions when you get it. The instructions are gonna have a QR code on 'em. It's very easy, you can scan that to get to the instructions using your modular device such as a cell phone, tablet, or something like that.

The cutout should be the same size as most standard travel trailer lock. 3-3/4-inches tall by 2-3/4-inches wide. And it's as simple as just using a Phillip head screwdriver for doing the installation. Overall dimension's, about 7-3/4-inches long, about 5-1/4-inches tall. And the width, depending on where you're measuring at, it's about 3-1/4-inches thick overall. And another thing you can do is it's going to display battery life remaining inside the lock. It'll keep track of your locking and unlocking history. So that app has a great number of things to do in there. And it works with both Android and iOS devices. And it's a free Bauer app. You can also change the power mode if you wanna save the battery life. So this is a great option if you're doing long-term storage and those kind of things. And it has built-in light and sound indicators. So those will also warn you if the deadbolt fails to lock or if the batteries are low. So lots of great options for you. It's a great upgrade for you.
